I want to start a diet to get fit for ballet, what should i eat??

i want to be skinnier and lose some weight off my thighs too, is there also a workout i could also try??

lots of protein as a dancer your muscles are always changing depnding on your style of dance and progession. lots of protein it's easy for your body to use aslong as your active. smaller portions and more meals a daily if your serious you will fell more energized throughout the day and you will be able to dance the night away.

most likely you don't really need to lose weight but if you insist squats will help with your legs and thighs make sure to stretch a ton and eat healthy say lay off the soda and junk food that doesn't mean eat one small salad a day you should eat three well balanced meals and two healthy snacks a day. and drink lots and lots of water
eat a lot of meat. i dance too, and you need the protein for energy. but that dosen't mean eat a cheeseburger. also drink a ton of water, especially when your dancing. stretch a ton. if your not close to tears, your stretching hard enough. in any dance class, especially ballet, you are expected to be able to do all your splits. if you have any questions e-mail me at liveandshine@yahoo.com
