What do i need to know to do grade 2 ballet and not be left behind?

i am starting grade 2 balet on wedsday and i am 13. i know i will be with little kids but there is one older girl in the class is there anything i should learn i know all the posiyons and avant and deriere (cant spell) i can also do pirrouetts and kind of arabasques and a bit of barre work and can almost do the splits but what should i know and what can i exspect

As you know all this, you don't really have much to worry about. I'm on grade 6 and you only start turning in pirroutes then! It's just basic barre work and steps, if you look on ebay, you can buy dvd's that teach you I think..good luck! xx

hmm .. well i had 4 years experience in ballet .. and i got honours in my grade test ^_^ ... but some pointers that could gain you a great reputation is being graceful in the way you move.. dont stress your whole body into making that one position ... keep your eyes following through your hand until you reach the position ... show emotion in the way you move... keep your back straight! .. VERY IMPORTANT!!! .. and when i did ballet i was very flexible .. i could do splits .. so if you keep stretching you will do wonders =)
