Don't worry, you aren't too old. You wanna go pro? Just look for a pre-proffessional school in your area, study there for two or three years, then try out for a company. You will have to work hard though!

i dought its to late but i am not sure
you can do it just keep on practicing or take ballet lesson..
When you're on that stage do not think about your age, just do the best of your ability and keep expanding it. You'll be magical.
Most danseurs are already professional by the time they are 19. I do know one young man who started at 19 and got a job (not with a mainstream company) at age 23. He is the exception, not the rule. You've gotta have a ton of talent, great teachers, and a lot time on your feet to make it. Good Luck
I actually don't know, but I really hope for you, that your dream will come true!
It may be too late for ballet, but do not discount the possibility of dancing in other forms and venues. A lot of preofessional danseurs knew that they wanted to dance professionally at a younger age and have been in classes since elementary school. SO you have a lot of ground to make up. I started late at 14, but I was also willing to dance in musicals and theme parks which involved a basis in ballet, but also jazz and tap. Also social dance -- dancing with a female partner -- will get you work if you can cha cha, samba, waltz, fox trot, etc. When A Chorus Line closed back in the 90s, the average age of the cast members was 19. So some were older and some were younger.

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, I just want you to go into this with your eyes open. And if you love dancing and want to do it professionally or at least, beyond high school and college classes and productions, then be able to dance other styles than ballet
it might be too late, it depends on how good you are right now. but if you really want to, you'll probably be able to make it. Johan Kobborg didn't start dancing until he was 16, and then he was accepted into the Royal Danish Ballet when he was 19, and was one of the very first to be promoted to principal dancer when he was 22. now he's a principal dancer at the Royal Ballet.
