What are some good songs for a children's dance recital? Ballet tap or jazz? 3 to4 yr old %26amp; 5 to 6 yr old?theater seating
I think there's a song called "baby elephant" we did a recital to it once but practiced with Madonna's "Lucky Star" same counts.(jazz ballet) what about Micheal Bubble's "Save the last Dance for Me" no suggestive lyrics in either.

With tap, Harry Connick Jr has some amazing songs on his albums and they're ear friendly and there are so many levals to the musicality in his songs and voice. Also, with jazz, well, none other than Michael Buble, remakes great standards and just another great singer that does standards and jazz. For ballet, everybody loves to see dance of the sugar plums, from the nutcracker.

I would do something they would know sometimes but make them choose a song to dance to if your having trouble picking one out.
